Fume Hood LaboratorySole Source determination is based on the following: NIST Center for Neutron Research in Gaithersburg, Maryland, currently uses an Air Control fume hood in the laboratory to perform acid work. Specifically, the hood will be used for cleaning of silicon wafers and other substrates and for sample assembly. In order to maintain consistency and compatibility with the Division’s existing fume hood, the Center requires an additional Air Control fume hood. Air Control, Inc., is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the system that is required to satisfy the Government’s minimum requirements.
